Road works continue on South Canterbury highways through May with some new Stop/Go sites starting up over the coming weeks. People are encouraged to keep an eye on the traffic map and build in some extra time if they can.

Most of the sites are weather dependent, so if it is wet the work may not start on the night/time proposed. Work causing the most delays will be done at night whenever possible, but some of our work needs the warmer day time temperatures to be successful.

Some sites may involve up to a ten-minute wait, others a shorter delay. Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency thanks road users for their patience and care as the winter days get shorter.
