State Highway 63 now has both lanes reopened following a stock truck crash earlier this afternoon.

The highway was fully closed at the intersection of Baigent Road from 2 pm to around 3 pm today, and then restricted to one lane with stop/go traffic management until after 5:30 pm.

This section of state highway is now fully open to all road users.

Waka Kotahi wants to thank all drivers for their patience and cooperation while contractors worked to clear the crashed truck and reopen the road.
