The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) has released returns data for individual participants in the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS).
Individual participants’ annual emissions and removals data for 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022 is available on our website.
The EPA provided information about participants for the first time in 2021. Emissions returns contain data about the emissions participants cause by carrying out their activity. This can include removing greenhouse gases from the atmosphere, for example, from forestry.
The data provides a breakdown of emissions and removals for sectors, as well as for individual participants in each sector in three parts:
- mandatory participants
- voluntary participants
- post-1989 forestry participants.
