This page summarises the methodology we will use to account for the effect of COVID-19 on building activity for the June 2022 quarter onwards.
Value of building work put in place: June 2022 quarter will be published on 5 September 2022 with a provisional status.
In the upcoming release, statistics for the June 2021 quarter onwards will be updated to reflect improved survey information.
Building activity statistics estimate the value and volume of work put in place on building projects in New Zealand. The estimates include a modelled component and a surveyed component.
