Due to emergency works on a wastewater pipe, contractors need to this section of State Highway 58 for six to eight hours through afternoon and evening peak traffic today.
The highway will be closed from two pm this afternoon.
Road users can use signposted detours through local roads. They must keep to the speed limits and take care in and around school zones.
Heavy vehicles are asked to use alternative state highways.
