This work is weather dependent. If work needs to be rescheduled due to the weather, Waka Kotahi will notify the community as soon as possible.
Work at this site was initially scheduled for Sunday 24 July but was delayed due to an oversight with the traffic management plan.
To avoid delays to journeys, people are encouraged to take State Highway 45, where practical.
Crews will also work to complete asphalt patch repairs to other areas of SH3 between New Plymouth and Stratford under stop/go traffic management in the coming weeks, as the weather permits, with delays of approximately 5-10 minutes.
Waka Kotahi thanks road users for their patience while this critical work is completed and apologises for the disruption caused.
