Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises the planned full closure of Saddle Road between Ashhurst and Woodville for five days starting this Monday, 27 June, has been postponed.

The full closure for five days was to complete work including vegetation mowing and line-marking as well as sight rail and guard rail maintenance.

This work has been postponed due to reprioritisation following recent weather events. The work will be rescheduled and a new date will be advised once details are confirmed.

Waka Kotahi thanks the public for their understanding and reminds people to be prepared for winter driving conditions and take care.
