State Highway 21 Airport Road will have three-way Stop/Go in place around Wiremu Tamihana Drive in Tamahere next week while a final asphalt surface is laid over the site of the SH21 Underpass.
Work will take place from Wednesday 15 June until Friday 17 June between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
Motorists are asked to take care when travelling through the site, which will have a speed limit of 30kph.
The work may be postponed in the event of bad weather.
The underpass, which was completed earlier this year, is part of Te Awa, the Great NZ River Ride.
The last part of the project involves some final chipsealing between the underpass and the Tamahere Interchange to permanently cover redundant road markings. This will take place in the warmer summer months.
