Key facts
- In the March 2022 quarter, the actual volume of ready-mixed concrete produced was 1.12 million cubic metres, up 5.5 percent compared with the March 2021 quarter.
- In the year ended March 2022, 4.58 million cubic metres of ready-mixed concrete was produced, up 10.4 percent compared with the year ended March 2021.
- In seasonally adjusted terms, the volume of ready-mixed concrete fell 2.8 percent in the March 2022 quarter, following a 30 percent rise in the December 2021 quarter.
