Award-winning Papamoa based artist Alex Miln has launched a range of stylish fashion and homewares products giving his fans the opportunity to purchase a variety of items featuring his art.
Alex’s work, which he classifies as ‘Signtology,’ is deeply rooted in his take on Americana. Topics that feature heavily in his retro-inspired works include politics and religion. Subjects within his art often include American diners and motels (all with exotic names in the unlikeliest places), automobile references (in their faded, rusty glory) and churches (the most conservative of domains).
Whilst Alex usually expresses his art via complex and provocative 3D sculptural art pieces, people will now be able to have experience the joy of his provocative sculptural pieces printed on a variety of fashion items (tee shirts, long-sleeved tees, and hoodies) and homewares (beach towels, aprons, coasters, and puzzles).
“I’m excited to launch this new collection of products. Now, my art is more accessible for everyone to enjoy, and I can’t wait to see people wearing my art or displaying it in their homes. I hope that people enjoy having their own little piece of Americana as much as I relished producing this collection.”
All the products within the collection are available for sale on Alex’s online shop: https://alexmiln.com/shop/.
