SH3 Mt Messenger will be closed between 10.00am and 2.00pm to all traffic tomorrow (Saturday 26 March ) while resealing is underway.
This work was originally scheduled to be undertaken on Thursday 24 March but was postponed due to the wet weather.
The road closure will enable crews to complete the work quickly and safely. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys to avoid this road closure.
Emergency services will be permitted access through the site at all times.
For all sealing sites, temporary speed restrictions will remain in place overnight while the new seal sets. The sites will then be swept and line-marked during off-peak hours, so if travelling through this area of the network in the days following the reseal work, please keep an eye out for our crews and drive to the conditions. To minimise the risk of damage to both vehicles and the new seal, it is crucial that road users adhere to all temporary speed restrictions in place.
