An independent panel has today approved the development of 425 residential housing units at Hobsonville, west of Auckland.
Aedifice Development Limited applied for resource consent under the COVID-19 Recovery (Fast-track Consenting) Act 2020.
The Brickfields Scott Road Development will include earthworks, and the construction of water and roading infrastructure.
The expert consenting panel has granted resource consent with conditions, including for construction noise and vibration management, lighting and e-bike charging, native lizard management, and wetland monitoring.
The decision comes 87 working days after the project was lodged with the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA). We are not involved in the decision-making. We provide advice and administrative support for the panel convener, Judge Newhook, and the expert consenting panels he appoints.
