Critical worker guidance for getting a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT), how to self test and how to register the result.

Rapid antigen tests (RATs) are a type of test which can be carried out at home or with minimal support required. A swab is taken from the front of the nose and results are usually available within 20 minutes.

This guidance is for critical workers in our Omicron response. It covers the three models for accessing RATs depending on the worker’s employer, how to self test and how to register the result.
