Vaccinations

Vaccines administered to date (percentage of eligible people):

  • 3,978,510 first doses (95%)
  • 3,866,935 second doses (92%)
  • 30,780 third primary doses
  • 423,710 booster doses

Māori (percentage of eligible people):

  • 501,343 first doses (88%)
  • 464,541 second doses (81%)

Pacific Peoples (percentage of eligible people):

  • 270,050 first doses (94%)
  • 259,340 second doses (90%)

Hospitalisations

37 cases in hospital:

  • 4 in North Shore
  • 14 in Auckland
  • 13 in Middlemore
  • 5 in Tauranga
  • 1 in Waikato

Cases

35 new community cases:

  • 18 in Auckland
  • 1 in Waikato
  • 13 in Bay of Plenty
  • 3 in Lakes

24 new cases identified at the border.
