Vaccinations

Vaccines administered to date (percentage of eligible people):

  • 3,975,528 first doses (94%)
  • 3,856,703 second doses (92%)
  • 29,226 third primary doses
  • 333,820 booster doses

Māori (percentage of eligible people):

  • 500,643 first doses (88%)
  • 462,192 second doses (81%)

Pacific Peoples (percentage of eligible people): 

  • 271,432 first doses (95%)
  • 259,464 second doses (91%)

Hospitalisations

53 cases in hospital:

  • 9 in North Shore
  • 16 in Auckland
  • 22 in Middlemore
  • 5 in Tauranga
  • 1 in Rotorua

Cases

31 new community cases:

  • 14 in  Auckland
  • 1 in Waikato
  • 12 in Bay of Plenty
  • 4 in Lakes

29 new cases identified at the border.
