Emergency services are responding to a serious crash at the intersection of Te Onepu Road and SH 2, Te Hauke.
Police were notified of the crash, involving a car and a truck, shortly after 10am.
Intial indications are three people have sustained minor to moderate injuries, and a fourth person has been seriously injured.
The road is down to one lane and traffic management is being put in place.
Please avoid the area where possible, as there will likely be delays.
