Police can now release the names of the two women who died following a crash on State Highway 1, south of Waihola on Saturday.
They were Charlene Phuong, 23, and Fay Leota, 44, both of Dunedin.
Our thoughts are with their family and loved ones.
Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
