Reserve Bank Deputy Governor Geoff Bascand will be delivering a keynote speech tomorrow at the Citi Australia & New Zealand Investment Conference 2021.
The speech is titled: The contribution of strong balance sheets to New Zealand’s economic resilience and recovery from the pandemic.
The speech focuses on stronger balance sheets for households, businesses, financial institutions and the government going into the pandemic and how they have contributed towards maintaining a sound financial system and yielding a faster economic recovery than following previous deep recessions.
The speech will be published at 1:30pm on Thursday 14 October.
