New Zealand’s first ever Vaxathon will take place this Super Saturday, 16 October, encouraging New Zealanders to get vaccinated. It will be streamed live on Three, Māori Television, and Hahana (external link), 12 to 8pm.
Well-known celebrities, influencers and health professionals will be live, crossing to COVID-19 vaccination sites to capture the atmosphere and experiences of those receiving their first or second vaccine.
Be one of the thousands of New Zealanders getting their vaccination this week. And if you’ve already been vaccinated, support your friends and whānau.
It’s the time for us to come together and celebrate our collective efforts, Aotearoa!
If your business or community would like to get involved contact Sonny Ngatai at the Ministry of Health.
The Super Saturday Vaxathon is supported by the Ministry of Health, Te Māngai Pāho, Pango Productions, and Discovery New Zealand. It is also receiving support from New Zealand businesses to awhi vaccine uptake in communities around Aotearoa.
