Toi Ohomai is a regional partner of the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) for the Rotorua, Taupō and Tokoroa YES and a key sponsor of YES Western Bay of Plenty.
We recently hosted the YES (Rotorua, Taupō and Tokoroa) regional pitches, with over 30 business ideas pitched to judges.
The event featured a regional first, with two wharekura pitching (and judged) in te reo Māori.
“I was absolutely blown away by the local rangatahi talent, particularly around social entrepreneurship that reflects kaitiakitānga of our taiao and environment,” said Judge Rawiri Bhana.
