‘Conversations about the future’ is a set of interviews about demographics, climate change and their implications, conducted in December 2019 with selected Māori and Pacific leaders and experts by Treasury Chief Economic Adviser Tim Ng.
This interview with Rangimarie Hunia, entitled ‘This place is bigger than the human’, discusses how Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei thinks about the concept of intergenerational wellbeing, and what that means for their approach to managing the issues that may arise in the future.
