The Memories in Time Project grew out of a rummage through a second-hand bookshop’s ephemera drawer and now is a growing family tree on Ancestry.
Join Fiona Brooker to learn more about the project and how it can be used to save family treasures.
Have you ever wandered through a second-hand shop or fair and noticed books with names in them, photos or old family documents and thought I wish I had these for my family? Or maybe you have inherited a collection of paperwork and you’re not sure what to do with it.
The Memories in Time Project grew out of a rummage through a second-hand bookshop’s ephemera drawer and now is a growing family tree on Ancestry of miscellaneous finds linked to their owner and shared freely for others to find and add to their family history.
In this presentation, Fiona will share more about the project and give some other ideas on what to do with things you find and inherit.
This event will be held in the Auckland Art Gallery Auditorium (Corner of Kitchener and Wellesley Streets) and online via Zoom.
Register to attend in person and online.
