The Earthquake Commission (EQC) is undertaking a review of its Disposal Schedule that covers EQC information and records in both paper and digital formats.

The schedule identifies which records should be retained as public archives, and which records may be destroyed after a period as required by the Public Records Act 2005.

We’re inviting individuals and organisations that may wish to have some involvement with our review to provide feedback on the draft disposal actions being proposed to Archives New Zealand.

To ensure that appropriate disposal decisions are made we are consulting with those who may have an interest in EQC information and records, prior to submitting the Disposal Schedule to Archives New Zealand.

The consultation period is from Tuesday 17 August to Monday 30 August. If you have any feedback, please complete the feedback form and send it to DAConsultation@eqc.govt.nz by 5pm, Monday 30 August.

If you require any further information, please contact us via the email address above.
