The Government has announced this evening that New Zealand’s COVID-19 Alert Levels will change tonight. All of New Zealand moves to Alert Level 4 from 11:59pm Tuesday 17 August.

Please note the following;

Chris Collins, EIT Chief Executive, has made the decision that all teaching, including online, will be suspended on Wednesday 18 August, with the plan to deliver online where able from Thursday 19 August. Your Programme Co-ordinators will be in contact regarding plans for delivery shortly.

All of EIT’s Campuses and Regional Learning Centres are closed for the remainder of this week. Following future government announcements we will provide you updates on when campuses will reopen.

If you have been to a location of interest, please self isolate, and call Healthline on 0800 358 5453 for advice.

We will provide more information as it comes to hand via our website and Facebook pages.

Lastly, remember everyone, we have done this before, we have planned for this, and need to take it day by day.
