Gail Stent and Judy Stokes are two creative Auckland photographers who use photography as a form of self-expression.
Photography for them is an outlet for their creativity where they connect deeply with nature. Being behind the camera is a form of meditation and a connection to their natural environment.
A few years ago, the two explored the concept of collaboration in photography, producing highly successful work.
This exhibition will feature new collaborative works by this creative duo – with a mixture of material from both artists in each work.
The exhibition will also showcase the latest individual works by these artists.
Gail and Judy are both experience teachers and in 2019 they joined together and created Wild Child Photography Weekend workshops.
These workshops are where they share their creativity and inspiration with others.
During ArtWeek, they will be running a hands-on photography workshop on “Creativity and Collaboration in Photography”.
Workshop:
- Sat 16 Oct: 10am-3pm with one hour lunch
- Topic: “Creativity and Collaboration in Photography”
