James Kirkwood’s ‘NEW Pavillion 2019’ from Sculpture in the Gardens 2019-2020.

The Sculpture in the Gardens exhibition will be on from 20 Nov 2021 to 6 March 2022 with 20 large scale sculptures along a 1.8km trail through the beautiful Auckland Botanic Gardens.

The exhibition is free and open to everyone. As well outdoor sculptures, there is an indoor gallery, events, competitions and chances to interact with the artists and get hands-on with art.

We expect 300,000 to 400,000 visitors through the Gardens during the exhibition.

The walk is a pleasant walk for most people, with mobility options available to book and guided walks tailored to visitor abilities and interests.

Make sure you vote for your favourite sculpture in the People’s Choice Award, where the winning artist is decided by public vote.

See our website for detailed information.
