Save the Children is seeking the support of an expert on arts-based qualitative, participatory research methods to design the methodology, develop tools, and lead the data collection and analysis. Arts-based research methods may include dance, poetry, music, drama, body art, pottery, etc. Experts in less traditional arts-based methods are strongly encouraged to apply.

I. The Proposal

The interested party is expected to follow the framework proposed (below). However, they are also welcome to propose additions or edits as long as they are aligned with the assignment goal and objectives. The interested party must submit a technical and financial proposal (including process, scope and timetable) by August 12.

II. Contents of proposal

– Full curriculum vitae

– Summary of previous experience in undertaking tasks of this type

– Sample of previous similar assignments (2 sample reports of previous work)

– A proposal which includes a workplan & methodology for conducting the study

– A budget (indicating number of days, rate per day and expected related expenses to the assignment and clearly including the VAT)

– Signed Consent form and T&C

III. Review Process

Once all applications are assessed, the selected party will be informed in writing.
