This proactive release covers documents relating to the Treasury’s advice on pay restraint in the lead up to, and during, the development of the Government Workforce Policy Statement and the accompanying Public Service Pay Guidance that was issued by the Public Service Commissioner on 5 May 2021. We acknowledge that since this time, further information has been released in light of correspondence between the Minister for the Public Service and unions.
