NZFW is back for 2021 and celebrating their 20th anniversary this year.
The return of this iconic event will bring together New Zealand’s talented industry of designers, make-up artists, stylists, photographers, models and BTS crew to celebrate the nation’s talented industry.
Returning to the iconic Aotea Square and Auckland Town Hall, the packed schedule of events occurring between 23 and 27 August will feature runways by key NZ designers.
As part of the 20th anniversary celebration, opening night will feature a special Retrospective Show with a selection of designers who have previously shown at New Zealand Fashion Week and have been a part of its history, along with footage from years past.
Alongside this, for the very first time this traditionally trade-only show will be open to consumers as well. To give fashion lovers a chance to experience New Zealand Fashion Week alongside industry and designer guests, iTicket will offer a limited number of hosting packages to select shows, including Kate Sylvester, Resene Designer Runway, Kathryn Wilson, Hailwood, Zambesi and the special 20-year Retrospective Show.
To extend the experience further, a fan zone will be set up in Aotea Square, where the public can view selected shows on a big screen and participate in a number of activities.
Fashion Week will run from Monday 23 August until Friday 27 August, followed by Fashion Weekend running 28 & 29 August.
