sales increase in March quarter – Media release

Electricity, gas, water, and waste services
sales reached $5.3 billion in the March 2021 quarter, up 15 percent ($686
million) from the same time last year, Stats NZ said today.
The Business financial data release covers
most market industries in the New Zealand economy, using survey and tax
data. Business financial data (BFD) feeds into the measure of gross domestic
product. The Gross domestic product: March 2021 quarter release will be
published on 17 June 2021.
