Separated from her homeland of Niue, artist Cora-Allan Wickliffe has created a site-specific installation that allows ‘players’ to move around a board game, which features the villages and local attractions of Niue.
The immersive experience has been developed from a game originally created on Hiapo cloth, and these motifs and patterns are repeated throughout the installation.
Wickliffe invites other Niuean’s and extended community who have an affinity to the island to join her in actively participating in the installation to reminisce and share stories of Niue.
