Police are responding to a crash involving multiple vehicles on State Highway Two, Lower Hutt.
Police were alerted at around 3:40pm to the crash on SH2 between Grounsell Crescent and Tirohanga Road.
The road is down to one lane and could be for some time.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
