Join us on Friday 21 May 2021 as we Kōrero Mai, Kōrero Atu, Mauri Tū, Mauri Ora – Speak Up, Stand Together, Stop Bullying!

Celebrated annually around the globe, Pink Shirt Day began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a peer was bullied for wearing a pink shirt.

In Aotearoa, Pink Shirt Day works to create schools, workplaces, communities and whānau where everyone feels safe, valued and respected.

Help create AUT’s Official Pink Shirt!

We’ve been celebrating Pink Shirt Day in Aotearoa since 2009 and AUT is committed to celebrating Pink Shirt Day so why create our own Pink Shirt to show our support!?

Submit your t-shirt design to kin@aut.ac.nz by Wednesday 19 May. T-shirt designs will be displayed at the Pink Shirt Day event in Hikuwai Plaza for voting.
