Rotorua / Eastern Bay of Plenty road works from 30 April

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises that various asphalt resurfacing works will be completed in the coming week across the Rotorua and Eastern Bay of Plenty network.

Asphalt resurfacing night works

Resurfacing work will take place on State Highway 5 (SH5) Old Taupo Road between Friday 30 April and Monday 3 May.

Works will be undertaken at night to minimise disruption to motorists. The works are scheduled to take place between 7pm and 6am at the following locations:

SH5 Old Taupo Road, between Clayton Road and Sunset Road, Rotorua – Friday 30 April

State Highway 5 Old Taupo Road, southbound between View Road and Lake Road, Rotorua – Sunday 2 May and Monday 3 May.

During these works, lane shifts will be in place with a 30km/h temporary speed limit.
