SH2 Melling remains down to one lane, significant delays

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is advising that State Highway 2 at Melling remains down to one lane in both directions due to a serious crash.

The Serious Crash Unit is still on site and crews are working hard to get the road fully open as quickly as possible, however significant delays are expected – southbound queues are currently back to Haywards interchange and growing.

Motorists are advised to delay travel southbound until the crash and congestion is cleared. Waka Kotahi will continue to provide updates via Facebook, Twitter and the website.
