The Environment Court has released its cost decision on BWO’s appeal against an abatement notices issued by the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA).
In October 2020 the Environment Court cancelled the abatement notices issued by the EPA in March 2020.
BWO applied to the Environment Court for costs against the EPA. On 26 February 2021 the Environment Court ordered the EPA to pay BWO costs of $110,000.
The appeal period expires on Friday 19 March 2021 and the EPA is considering the decision.
