Professor Michael Plank, and Shaun Hendy and Siouxsie Wiles (UoA) comment on the change of alert levels in @ConversationEDU – saying that the “go hard and go early” approach puts us in the best position to track any epidemiological links to the new case, and prevent a large undetected outbreak.
