A range of world-leading experts from the University of Canterbury have featured in podcasts discussing their earthquake research on the RNZ science programme Our Changing World with journalist Alison Balance.

  • “Throughout my career, I have inspected many areas affected by major earthquakes and liquefaction, but what we had in Christchurch was really unprecedented in terms of how extensive and severe the liquefaction damage was,” says Professor Misko Cubrinovski, pictured above in 2011.
