AUT’s School of Art and Design annual awards recognise not only scholarly excellence, but also an extraordinary contribution to the school, and wider community. The awards demonstrate the School’s long-standing relationships with community and industry partners.
Head of School Dr Andrew Withell says seeing the graduating students’ work is always a highlight. “I am always so proud to see the high-quality work our students produce. This year has been tough, but the way our students and staff have adapted to a different teaching environment and changing levels of access to on campus facilities and still turned out such quality work gives me heart.
“Building a community is a central part of the work our students do, and we’re glad to have the ongoing support of our partners and sponsors. The art and design staff all look forward to seeing the mark our students will make on the world as they develop their careers.”
