The Ministry of Health is hosting a panel for media where participants will reflect on New Zealand’s approach to COVID-19 and how the response evolved throughout 2020.  
Thursday 10 December, 5.15pm – 6pm

Panellists are:

  • Dr Ashley Bloomfield, Director-General of Health
  • Air Commodore Darryn Webb, Head of Managed Isolation and Quarantine
  • Dr Ian Town, Chief Science Advisor, Ministry of Health

*This event is designed as a briefing for media and will not be livestreamed on the Ministry of Health website. Media will be able to ask questions of panellists following opening remarks. All comments are on the record and reportable. This is intended to provide material for longer form coverage following a number of requests for year in review interviews.

The panel will be held at 133 Molesworth St, Wellington. If you have television or audio equipment please arrive at least 15 minutes early to set up.
