SYDNEY AUSTRALIA, WEDNESDAY 2 DECEMBER 2020 – APAC’s leading distributor of cloud solutions and services, rhipe (ASX: RHP), has formally launched a significant expansion of its services following its acquisition of New Zealand-based Azure and specialist IT services provider Parallo earlier this year.

From today, three new services will be available to rhipe partners across Australia and New Zealand in the Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Software as a Service (SaaS) and Managed Service Providers (MSP) space.

For SaaS and ISV partners, Azure Cloud Platform Managed Services will support getting the best out of Azure to deliver product innovation by removing the technical noise and distraction of managing Cloud Platforms
New Data Protection Services for Commvault will provide access to expert knowledge to manage Commvault data protection environments – resolving an ongoing capacity gap for many MSPs, as well as providing a highly productised, high Net Promoter Score (NPS) white-label managed service that will enable partners to grow their annuity revenues

The Virtual Platform Support service will provide a disciplined approach to ensuring the health, performance and availability of VMware, Compute and Storage, including 24/7 remote monitoring and support.  This service also brings high NPS annuity revenue to partners, addressing a growing gap in partner capability.

The introduction of Parallo’s services is the latest development in rhipe’s strategy to provide additional opportunities for partners to grow their businesses, filling in any skills or capability gaps in their offering and adding additional value to the services they provide to their end customers.

Speaking on the launch, rhipe CEO Dominic O’Hanlon said, “rhipe has transformed in the past couple of years from being a transactional licensing business to a partner-focused IT services and support provider. Many of our partners are ISVs and SaaS creators that want to focus on their own products and offerings while using other external experts to manage their infrastructure, security, and cloud optimisation. Anything less and they risk being overtaken in today’s competitive market.

“This is where rhipe comes in – rhipe is committed to providing our partners with the latest infrastructure technology support to assist their growth, driving new opportunities to innovate and diversify their businesses.”

Parallo has built a strong position in the New Zealand market, helping ISVs and other scale-based cloud partners to manage security, performance, availability and cost of their Azure footprint, including builds, deployments, upgrades and many other related services.
