Maintenance works to start next week on SH2 Kaimata Road

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is advising that maintenance works will be underway on State Highway 2 Kaimata Road from Monday 9 November.

Contractors will be renewing the pavement and adding new road markings.

The work will take place between 7am to 5pm on weekdays and is expected to be completed by Friday 20 November, depending on weather.

During this time, the road will be underway stop-go traffic management with a speed restriction of 30 km/h. Motorists should expect some delays and are encouraged to plan ahead.

Residents have been advised to expect noise and dust while the work is underway. Waka Kotahi apologises for the inconvenience.
