Preliminary view of 2023 Census content – report

Here is our view of the content we plan to collect in the 2023 Census of Population and Dwellings.
This document has two purposes:
- To give customers, as early as possible, an idea of the direction and scope of the information we intend to collect in the 2023 Census, along with any constraints on additional content changes.
- To promote discussion and feedback on potential quality improvements we’re considering.
Your feedback on the suggested quality improvements in the report will help us with form development and testing, planned to occur in 2021. The Government Statistician’s final decision on content for the 2023 Census will be published in late-2021.
