AUCKLAND, NZ, 20 October 2020] CoreLogic New Zealand and Trade Me have inked a brand new partnership, bringing together the country’s best property data and analytics technology with the leading online listings portal.

The landmark partnership cements both CoreLogic and Trade Me’s ongoing commitment to help Kiwi’s find and sell property.

The agreement will see CoreLogic data enhance Trade Me’s Property Insights tool, while datasets from both companies will be aggregated to enable superior analytics and insight into consumer behaviour, demand and the property ownership lifecycle.

CoreLogic CFO and Acting Head of New Zealand, Lisa Jennings, said “CoreLogic is thrilled to be working with Trade Me, another trusted and well-known Kiwi business. Together we will improve the home buying and selling journey for so many, through a combination of our products and services.”

“Along with the obvious and immediate benefit of enhanced data, what’s also very exciting is the opportunity to connect our deep research capabilities with Trade Me’s unique consumer demand insights to provide a never-before-seen view of New Zealand’s property market. We’re bringing together the best analytical minds from both companies to conduct joint research and uncover exclusive insights for consumers and industry players alike on buyer behaviour from when they first search a property through to settlement,” Ms Jennings added.

Trade Me Head of Property, Jeremy Wade, said “CoreLogic is undeniably New Zealand’s leading provider of property data and analytics, and we’re delighted to have selected them as the partner to help power our Property Insights tool into the future.”

“There will be awesome opportunities to join forces with CoreLogic to create new and interesting products and insights that will be highly valuable for our customers and the wider NZ community,” he concluded.
