Police have arrested a number of people in Auckland and seized millions of dollars’ worth of properties and luxury vehicles following search warrants across Auckland today.

The arrests are the result of an ongoing investigation by the Financial Crime Group into money laundering activity.

Detective Superintendent Iain Chapman will be available to speak to media at a press conference at the front of Auckland Central Police Station, 13-15 College Hill, at 2.30pm.

Media are asked to arrive by 2.20pm to allow for set-up.

Footage from today’s operation including the seizure of a number of luxury items will be available for media this afternoon.
