The Pacific Cooperation Foundation Chair Fiso John Fiso, is pleased to announce that nine new members have joined the Foundation’s Board. All members bring years of experience and leadership, demonstrating their commitment to ensure PCF will continue its mandate of serving the Pacific region.

The nine new board members are:

Christine Nurminen – International Portfolio Manager, Pacific Region for Oxfam New Zealand
David Vaeafe – Consultant for Media, Communications and Tourism
Katerina Teaiwa – Associate Professor in Pacific Studies at the Australian National University
Dr. Steven Ratuva – Director of the Macmillan Brown Centre for Pacific Studies at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand
Dr. Vili Fuavao – Consultant for Sustainable Development
Felicity Bollen – Director of New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Pacific Connections
Josiah Tualamali’I – Pacific Youth Leadership and Transformation Council Trustee, Youth & Wellbeing Consultant
Leaupepe Ta’ala Ralph Elika – Director of Elika Consulting Group
Rachel Petero – Chief Executive of RISE 2025.

Mr. Fiso says the board members’ skillsets aligns well with the Foundation’s refreshed focus and strategy.
“The nine new board members accurately represent the Pacific, it’s been a long time coming,” he says.
“We have a spread of skills, but what is most impressive is that we have members who have a lot of expertise and research in certain sectors. We look forward to utilizing their skills.
