We are now Rainbow Tick certified. This is a fantastic milestone for MfE, it’s rainbow people and all.

The Rainbow Tick Certification is about accepting and valuing people in the workplace, and embracing the diversity of sexual and gender identities.

Leon Sullivan, Chair of MfE’s Rainbow Network says, “This is a fabulous start of our journey that will help all of our people feel more included. It is important to think of this as the start of the journey and we have a way to go yet.”

Tash Lewis who is Deputy Secretary of Strategy and Stewardship and the Sponsor of MfE’s Rainbow Network knows that a supportive work environment that is accepting of peoples’ differences benefits everybody in the organisation. “Achieving our Rainbow Tick allows us to show everyone that we are an organisation that reflects the community we serve and looks after our rainbow people.”

To gain the Rainbow Tick certification, MfE was evaluated in five areas: policies, staff training, staff engagement and support, external engagement and monitoring. To keep this certification we will be reviewed on an annual basis to ensure we remain an inclusive, and diverse organisation.
