While the Auckland region is in Alert Level 3, Auckland Council will continue to provide essential services to Aucklanders, including support for essential workers and the rough sleeper community.
Along with Auckland Transport continuing to provide public transport services for essential workers, council venues around the city are being used for essential services provided by others, such as foodbanks and in support of community testing centres.
Meanwhile more than 100 public toilets will remain open in our parks and open spaces that can be used by essential workers and rough sleepers. These facilities will undergo regular cleaning while the Alert Level 3 is in place.
