Tourism New Zealand’s General Manager Domestic, Bjoern Spreitzer says the toolkit will help industry attract more New Zealanders through their doors to spend on tourism products.

“The toolkit has been designed to make it easy for industry to leverage the successful Do Something New, New Zealand campaign.”

“Operators can use the free assets to align their marketing with the campaign which will help New Zealanders make the connection between Do Something New, New Zealand and their tourism product.”

The toolkit is available to download from Tourism New Zealand’s Visual Library and contains a range of assets businesses can use to align their marketing with the national campaign.

Do Something New, New Zealand launched on 22 May to encourage New Zealanders to travel domestically.

Since then it has reached over 2.1 million people on social media, has resulted in over 52,500 visits to newzealand.com and over 1200 referrals to operator websites via business listings and deals.

Tourism New Zealand has also launched a domestic edition of newzealand.com where operators can create deals specifically for a New Zealand audience through the Tourism Business Database.

Industry wanting to find out more about the toolkit and the domestic edition of newzealand.com can join a webinar at 10am on Friday 3 July.
