Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises that planned resealing work on State Highway 2 at Bethlehem will start this weekend.

The work will be completed overnight from Sunday 22 March to Thursday 26 March from 6pm-6am.

During the works the outside northbound lane will be closed to traffic. The inside northbound lane will remain open and a 30km/h temporary speed limit will be in place.

During the day all lanes will be open as usual. No work is planned for the southbound lanes.

The works on Monday and Tuesday nights will coincide with planned overnight closures of the SH2 Wairoa River Bridge from 10.30pm-5.30am.

The Transport Agency thanks motorists for their patience as it completes one of the final sections of scheduled maintenance for the season.
